Tutor Trust Impact Report 2024/2025 - Report - Page 3
Welcome
We’re delighted to welcome you to The Tutor Trust’s 2024/25
Impact Report, and to share what has been another remarkable
year for our charity.
Every page that follows is about people: the pupils who have worked so hard to reach
their goals, the tutors whose energy and commitment light up classrooms across the
North, and the teachers and partners who make our work possible. Together, they tell
a story of fairness, opportunity and belief in potential.
When The Tutor Trust was founded in Manchester in 2011, the challenge was that great
tutoring was a privilege for a few. Fourteen years on, we’re proud to have supported
thousands of young people, each one a reminder of why this mission matters.
In the 2024/25 academic year, nearly 5,500 pupils took part in our high-quality and
impactful programmes, across 183 education settings. From Bolton to Bradford,
Halton to Hartlepool and Wake昀椀eld to the Wirral, their progress and con昀椀dence
show that high-quality tutoring really can transform lives.
We’re especially proud of the partnerships that sit at the heart of this work, with
schools, universities, funders and Local Authorities all supporting our mission.
We are also grateful to our incredible tutors, who act not just as educators but
as role models and mentors for the young people we support.
As we look ahead to the next chapter of our journey, our purpose remains the same:
to ensure that every young person, no matter where they grow up, has the support
they need to thrive.
Thank you for being part of this mission.
